Meet the artist who created the SeaChange salmon graphics

Don Yeomans is a gifted Haida artist who has earned an international reputation

SeaChange owners and founders John & Anne Millerd commissioned Don Yeomans in the early 1990s to create the art found on our wooden gift boxes and packaging. This beautiful graphic depicts two salmon, male and female, with their young in the centre. Don Yeomans created several versions of this beautiful work for SeaChange, each designed to fit the lid of a different shaped cedar box.

Don Yeomans is an internationally acclaimed artist hailing from the northwest coast of British Columbia. His work can be found in the University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology, the Royal British Columbia Museum, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Vancouver International Airport, the Seattle Art Museum, and many private collections worldwide.
